Capabilities

  • Previous action cancelling function (Undo/Redo).
  • Layer Classes were implemented for processing layers having the same purpose.
  • Layers management. Layers can be added, deleted, grouped. Their properties and stack order can be modified.
  • Pads editor. Pads of various shapes including polygonal ones are supported.
  • Vias editor. Manual editor allows to work with through vias, blind vias, buried vias.
  • Objects grouping. Layers, nets, differential pairs, components can be grouped. Groups can be used then to set rules.
  • Conductors width management. Minimal and nominal width can be set for a separate net or a group of nets on all layers as well as on a separate layer or a group of layers.
  • Clearance management. Minimal and nominal clearance values can be assigned for separate nets or groups of nets. Rules can be applied for all layers, for a group of layers or for a separate layer.

  • Signal delay control. Several types of rules allow to set delay value alignment with specified deviation for a group of nets. Delay values can be set both as absolute value and in relation to “reference” nets and net groups.
  • Differential pairs properties management. Wave resistance can be managed both for a single wire and for a differential pair. The “wave-resistance” rule is used for describing differential pairs and aperture generation for Gerber files preparing.
  • Power planes support. Several power nets can be assigned to a layer.
